
Dr. Andrea Pappalardo, MD
Asthma Medical Director
Andrea Pappalardo, MD is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and an allergist-immunologist for both adults and children. Dr. Pappalardo serves as the Asthma Medical Director in the Coordinated Healthcare for Complex Kids (CHECK) program where she oversees and trains community health workers and provides consultative and educational services to key community and clinical partners. Her research focuses on school and community-based interventions to reduce health disparities in asthma. She believes strongly in increasing sub-specialty access to all and provides school-based allergy and asthma specialty care through Mobile Care Chicago's Asthma Van one day a week in addition to her clinics at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
